A sharp-tongued, stubborn, generous spender who talks himself into falling in love with the other guy ✖️ a sharp-tongued little money-grubber in public, but obedient as a puppy in private (or so he pretends)
Chen Yuyu is a fresh graduate with a clear-eyed, slightly clueless look. Unable to find a job, he becomes so anxious he can barely eat or sleep.
One day, he gets a letter from his college roommate and close friend, who tells him that a company near him is hiring. If he doesn't mind the long commute, he should come and apply.
The next day, Chen Yuyu makes an unusual effort to spruce himself up before heading to the interview.
But fate is cruel! He gets off at the right stop, only to find he still has a little way to go. He doesn't want to trouble his roommate by asking him to come pick him up.
So he sets off on foot, full of hope, only to be sent flying into the roadside greenery by an out-of-control Mercedes-Benz. The back of his head hits the curb hard, and just like that, he dies on the spot!
Still, in the end, Heaven is fair: it lets him die young, but grants him a second life.
He thought he was a goner, but when he opens his eyes, he finds himself back on campus, having transmigrated into a book.
Here, Chen Yuyu is one of Lu Weixing's lackeys. He never gets in on the fun, but he always gets stuck with piles of errands!
Looking at Lu Weixing, who's from a prominent, fabulously wealthy family and spends money like it's nothing, Chen Yuyu swears to Heaven that he too will become rich!
He'll embrace the glory of the rat race and make sure Lu Weixing can't live without his devoted care!
He'll become his number-one lackey!
Lu Weixing! Your loyal servant is on his way!!
(Hehe! Later on, if Chen Yuyu so much as hesitates to take Lu Weixing's money, Lu Weixing decides he must not love him!)
Who would fall in love with someone who treats them like a dog?
Personally, I like this type of novel very much, and the protagonists are also very interesting to get along with each other. If I have to clear it up, I probably have a secondary CP? The plot is a bland and sweet story, and those who watch the fast pace may not be able to adapt to it.
Very pretty hehe
