From Here On tells the romantic story of designer Su Xiaowei and court bailiff Lu Jingchen, who meet by chance during a blizzard in Yellowstone National Park. They save each other from death and fall in love, weathering workplace struggles and the ups and downs of their relationship before eventually marrying. But real-life challenges keep mounting: injuries from three previous accidents leave Su Xiaowei unable to conceive, and the pandemic keeps them apart for a long time, gradually driving a wedge between them. As waiting and pressure wear them down, the couple grows further and further apart. The story does not end in a reunion. Lu Jingchen chooses to let go and divorces Su Xiaowei amicably, leaving readers with profound questions about love, sacrifice, and reality.
