A Bin was an unlucky hunter in the National Fortune Games.
While everyone else was capturing prehistoric beasts to compete in the National Fortune Arena, his navigation System malfunctioned and insisted he go through a wormhole to capture an emperor from 1,400 years ago: Li Shimin.
Even more absurdly, the System classified this "Heavenly Khan" as a "Legendary Beast," and said failure would cost him his hunter's license.
To keep his job, A Bin gritted his teeth and coaxed and tricked Li Shimin into coming back to the modern era.
At first, he was only trying to get the job done. That was until he saw it with his own eyes:
China's contestants kept losing in the National Fortune Arena, and the flags in the stands remained silent for far too long.
Western dragons roared across the arena as boos rang through the audience: "China has no heroes."
At that moment, A Bin clenched the cold tiger tally in his arms.
He raised his head and spoke softly into the void:
"Your Majesty, lend me your Black Armor Army."
A tide of black swept into the center of the arena.
The thunder of hooves crushed more than the arena. It shattered the humiliation of an entire era, long buried and unseen.
This time, the lion would not sleep.
Clad in bright armor, it returned to the center of the world in the glory of the Great Tang.
