Nineteenth-century Vanxi, the Fog City. In the shadow of fog and steam, a silent disaster quietly descended: glass, along with every concept of “transparency,” “observation,” and “rational inquiry,” was completely erased from the memories of all living things and from the material world. Buildings collapsed, science ground to a halt, and civilization was plunged into “blindness.”
An assassination attempt brought the wounded Liberate to the doorstep of Alice’s clinic. They discovered that “glass” was only the beginning. A law known as “concept erasure” was stripping the world of everything. They chose to fight back, unaware of what the journey ahead held.
(The blurb doesn’t do it justice. Please read the novel.)
The setting is very interesting, it is a new setting where items disappear that have never been seen before [currently in preparation]
