The Madcap Era: I’m the King of the Underworld in the 1970s

Yan Wangni, a permanent resident of a psychiatric hospital, opened her eyes and found herself transmigrated into the body of Yanni, a pitiful girl in the 1970s.

From the start, some thugs cornered her in a shabby house, and she retaliated by embedding them in the wall. Bullied in the dorms? She cleared the place out by force. Bound to a Merit System, she earns points by "going crazy," scams people out of work points, fakes fainting spells to stage accidents, and takes a centenarian little old lady as her big sister. She rules the village with an iron fist. While others go to the countryside to be reformed, she goes to reform the people there: treating unruly villagers, taking on the worst troublemakers, and casually fleecing her stingy System until it crashes.

When everyone thinks she's a delicate little flower, Yan Wangni grins and says, "Wrong. I'm the head doctor of your mental hospital."
