Obsessive + yandere + scheming + twin male leads secretly competing + two-on-one + both leads devoted only to each other
Wen Yanyan is just like her name: sweet and soft, like a gentle piece of jade, with skin as pale as mutton-fat jade. Born into a scholarly family, she was pampered from the time she was little.
Her older brother, Ji Yanli, is a gentleman in the eyes of outsiders, but in truth he is scheming and wicked. Her younger brother, Ji Yanchao, is a freewheeling young master who thinks no one is worthy of his attention and does whatever he pleases.
People say twins share a special understanding, and sure enough, they have exactly the same taste in romance. They even start playing at cosplay, leaving poor little sister bewildered as the two of them monopolize her. She finds herself more and more confused about this relationship. One day, she discovers the truth, and a complicated mix of betrayal and embarrassment overwhelms her. Feeling wronged, she runs away, only to be caught and brought back before she can figure things out.
In the car, Ji Yanli and Ji Yanchao sit on either side of her. Wen Yanyan curls up miserably, crying and muttering, “You two are awful. You lied to me for so long, and now you still won’t let me leave!” Her younger brother wraps an arm around her waist and leans in to whisper in her ear, “Baby, you can’t get away.” Her older brother grips her hand tightly and won’t let go, silently repeating, “Baby, you’ll never escape me in this lifetime”…
In short:
Early on: The brothers team up to “deceive” and monopolize their little sweetheart, pretending to have split personalities to hide the fact that there are two of them.
Middle: She discovers the truth, feels betrayed, runs away in tears, and is caught and brought back. There’s nowhere for her to escape.
Later: The brothers apologize but refuse to let go. She gradually accepts the reality of the three of them living together. Before long, she gets pregnant, and their sweet, spoiled-troublemaker daily life begins.
