The List of Investiture is actually a tool used by the Heavenly Dao to maintain the balance of energy and eliminate unstable factors, namely powerful Qi Refiners. The so-called "immortals breaking the precepts" is just an excuse. Every character has their own agenda. Tian Ye unravels the conspiracy step by step, but cannot stop it. Once the Investiture is complete, Jiang Ziya establishes the state of Qi. Years later, Tian Ye gives up his divine position and takes Jiang Qi's place.
