I, the Corpse King, Was Handed Over to the State by My Daughter from the Start!

[Apocalypse] + [Zombie siege] + [No System] + [Ruthless early on, ridiculous later] + [Invincible] + [Base-building later]

My name is Jiang Xiaomeng. You probably won't believe me, but my dad… might not be human anymore.

Six months after the apocalypse began, zombies surrounded the city.

His body was cold and bloodless.

His pupils were dilated, and he didn't need to sleep.

Last week, I caught him sneaking raw meat in the kitchen. Blood at the corner of his mouth, he smiled at me and said, “Sweetie, Dad's just checking how it tastes.”

On my sixth birthday, trembling, I dialed the emergency number Dad had given me.

…

Special Operations Captain Chen Dong received the order, his brow furrowed.

“Target: male, suspected of turning into a zombie. High threat level. Rescue his six-year-old daughter. If necessary… eliminate him on the spot.”

He led his team in, blasted open the door, and raised their guns.

Then everyone froze in place.

The man in a pink teddy-bear apron shakily pulled out a dark-red ID card.

“Don't shoot, officer,” he said, his voice hoarse but clear. “Retired special forces soldier, Jiang Chen.”

All around him, countless zombies had formed a circle, as if ready to shield him from the bullets!

He still had his mind and could control the zombie horde…

Was this the Zombie King!?

And he was on their side!

With him around, how could they possibly fail to build a safe zone!?

The captain trembled with excitement!

“Command, we don't need a rescue anymore.”

“Also, I request the highest level of protection.”

“I think we just struck gold!”
