The Stone Monkey Awakens: I Am the Heavenly Dao

In The Stone Monkey Awakens: I Am the Heavenly Dao, the protagonist becomes Sun Wukong in the ancient, chaotic world. The Jade Emperor sees him as a thorn in his side, while the Buddha treats him as a pawn, leaving him struggling to survive. By chance, he gains a golden finger: the “Seventy-Two Transformations” can alter reality itself and steal the laws of the Heavenly Dao. This lets him conceal his true identity, play the pig to eat the tiger, and maneuver among all the different factions. While most other immortals and gods are puppets, he continues to awaken and resist. In the end, he comprehends the Way of the Great Sage and transforms himself into a formation that reconstructs the world, ushering in a new era of primordial chaos.
