Journey to the West
Synopsis
When primordial chaos first parted, a celestial stone containing the remnant soul of Shi Gandang burst open on Flower-Fruit Mountain, giving birth to a stone monkey whose eyes blazed with golden light.
He crossed the oceans, became a disciple at Mount Lingtai Fangcun, and mastered the Seventy-Two Primordial Forms. With the Sea-Calming Needle in hand, he stormed the Dragon Palace and broke into the underworld, then proclaimed himself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven and threw the Celestial Court into chaos.
The Buddha pinned him beneath the Five Elements Mountain. Five hundred years of wind and rain could not wash the defiance from his eyes.
The Golden Cicada was reincarnated as Xuanzang, who set out westward. The moment he peeled off the golden-lettered talisman, the golden headband spell became a bond between them, and the stone monkey embarked on the pilgrimage for the scriptures.
Little did he know that the demons and monsters along the way were all part of a deadly trap laid by Kuigang and Wutian, and that the pilgrimage to the Western Heaven was itself a game of strategy among the sages.
Fragments of Shi Gandang’s seal lay hidden beneath the Flowing Sands River; the ginseng fruit tree in the Five Villages Temple was bound to a primordial spiritual root; and the Golden-Winged Great Peng of Lion Camel Ridge knew the secrets of the Three Realms...
There was also a “him” from the future, who shattered the barriers of time and space for one purpose: to rewrite the fate of the Three Realms and prevent their destruction.
Once the stone monkey uncovered the truth of his origins and tightened his grip on the golden cudgel, one cry of “Old Sun is here!” would be enough to overturn this rigged game and shatter the destiny already laid down!
This is not the Journey to the West you know. It is a mystery spanning time and space, a fierce battle between gods and demons across the Three Realms!
The writing is so good, I copied the creative writing style. Too serious is not a cool online article. Next time, remember to let Sun Wukong cultivate immortality.
It's nice to read, but there are too many words.
