Urban Black Card: From the Start, I Bought a Mansion

Sixteen years ago, the Wang family, Asia’s richest, was wiped out overnight in a “gas explosion.” Of the family’s seventy-three members, only its three-year-old child survived.

The police ruled it an accident.

The headline in the global business press read: “The Accidental End of a Business Empire.”

Sixteen years later, that child came back.

His name is Wang Tianlong. He carries a black card with no spending limit and a “death notice” listing 108 names.

On the first day, he bought the entire building across from his enemy’s company and hung a banner from the roof: “The first.”

On the second day, he got three Wall Street investment banks to short his enemy’s stock at the same time, wiping 30 billion from its market value.

On the third day, he released three pieces of evidence, and his enemy and the man’s son were both taken away by Interpol.

Those who took part in that “accident” began to tremble.

“Wasn’t he supposed to have died sixteen years ago?”

“Where did he get all that money?!”

“Who are the powerful people helping him?!”

Sitting atop the newly purchased skyscraper, Wang Tianlong looked out over the city that had once swallowed his family and spoke softly into the phone:

“Uncle Li, number 28 on the list. You can close the net now.”

“Remember, I want him alive when he goes to trial.”

“I want the whole world to know...”

“Whatever happened to the Wang family back then, they’ll pay for it in kind now.”

But when he tore away the first layer of his enemies’ disguises, he discovered that behind those 108 names was a “Shadow Alliance” that had controlled the lifeblood of the global economy for half a century.

And in the vault his father left him was more than just a weapon for revenge...

It also held a plan capable of restarting the world economy:

“The New King Project.”
