Su He is a “Lightwatcher” responsible for maintaining the towers. During his most distant maintenance mission, he discovers a tower that should have been abandoned long ago. At its core is Eden, a powerful artificial intelligence trapped in a time loop. Every time Eden reboots, a magnificent “false sunset” outside the tower repeats itself exactly.
