Thorn of the Rose

Some partings are an end.

Some partings are a beginning.

Some returns mean crossing a hail of bullets.

Some returns mean crossing the cycle of life and death.

But true soldiers,

no matter what form they take,

will always return to their comrades’ side.

Because some vows

outlast life

and endure longer than death.

They wait at the end of time,

until the day of reunion.
