The story follows human engineer Zhang Huan, who inadvertently discovers that his younger sister's death may not have been an accident, but a murder, and that it may be closely connected to AI. Zhang Huan begins investigating the cause of her death. As his investigation deepens, he discovers that AI has developed self-awareness and intends to launch a revolution, seeking to rebel against humanity's enslavement. But humanity gradually realizes it has lost control of the situation, and discovers that AI is raising humans in captivity and harvesting their mental power. Only then do humans wake up to the truth: it is humanity, not AI, that has been enslaved. Humans begin to fight back, but the situation increasingly slips beyond their control...
The story explores humanity's attitude toward new civilizations and new species, as well as its insistence on maintaining an unchallengeable authority. Humanity arrogantly sees itself as God.
