On the fourth day of the apocalypse, a leaden haze enveloped the city, and rust and rotten odor intertwined into a background of despair. Former company employee Chen Mo took three survivors - the calm maintenance worker Lao Zheng, the newly graduated nurse Lin Xiaoxia, and the impulsive and irritable strong man Zhang Ye - to hide in an underground garage in a suburban community, using only supplies and rudimentary weapons to resist the zombie siege. This is a temporary haven, but it is also a testing ground for human nature: lack of supplies causes suspicion, power imbalance hides conflicts, and Chen Mo always has one obsession burning in his heart - to find his girlfriend Xia Wan who is trapped in the office building opposite.
