An Immortal Soul Descends: One Man, One Sword, Ten Thousand Enemies Slain

[Slay the enemy] + [Prove the Dao through slaughter] + [Mad Daoist] + [Fiery style] + [No System]

Qingyun Temple is massacred by the Japanese. As sixteen-year-old novice Li Xuan lies at death’s door, he merges with the remnant soul of the “Mysterious Heaven Sword Venerable,” who failed his tribulation!

“Merely foreign barbarians, and you dare show such insolence before me?”

His memories awaken, and the immortal soul takes possession of him. Li Xuan’s fury blazes to the heavens, and a single sword intent wipes out every enemy! He also discovers that slaying the invaders earns him “Xuanhuang Merit Aura,” which helps him cultivate peerless sword techniques!

As Japanese pirates rampage at the foot of the mountain, he descends alone. He strolls casually through a hail of bullets, flicks his fingers to send bullets flying back, and commands blades to kill from a hundred paces away!

The villagers kneel as if before a god, while he uses this mountain of slaughter to step into the Qi Refining stage!

Pingyang County, the Japanese command headquarters, supplies piled high, and Japanese onmyoji standing guard? Perfect. This Daoist needs some merit to establish his foundation!

Before his master’s grave, Li Xuan swears, “I will not rebuild the temple until I have slaughtered every last Japanese invader in the land!”

On this day, the young Daoist takes up a plain iron sword and walks alone toward the county town shrouded in dark clouds.

Everyone knows how deadly guns and cannons are, but few know that there is something else in this world called a Sword Immortal.
