He Shi is a policewoman who has recently run into something strange.
Every murder she investigates has appeared in a novel beforehand.
The details match perfectly.
She tracks down the author, but the IP address leads to a public computer at the city library.
The security cameras are always out of order at the crucial moment.
Then, on the library’s basement level, she finds the novel’s manuscript. On the last page, it says:
“Hello, Officer He.”
“Congratulations. You’re the protagonist of this novel.”
