A Warm Orange Glow in the Ning Family Home

Jiang Nuan Cheng's parents divorced when she was young, and she grew up in Jiangcheng with her maternal grandparents. At eighteen, she earned a place in the medical school at the University of Beijing through her own hard work. Worried that her granddaughter might be mistreated in the capital, where her irresponsible parents lived, her grandmother entrusted her to a lifelong friend, the matriarch of the Ning family, the wealthiest family in Beijing. And so Jiang Nuan Cheng moved into the venerable Ning family mansion. But the old lady repeatedly warned her never to go near the detached villa on the west side of the estate. It was home to the most privileged and mysterious member of the Ning family: the matriarch's youngest son, Ning Linxiao, the sole person in control of the Ning empire. Yet the very distance she had been warned to keep would ultimately lead to a fated encounter. The cool, composed medical student stumbled into the solitary world of a business emperor. The evening breeze from Jiangcheng eventually warmed Beijing's chilly nights and brought to life a tender love hidden within the walls of a grand, wealthy household.
