Inspector Takagi failed to be the last person out when an elevator was overloaded, and no one ever saw him again. A librarian picked up a mystery novel from the floor and was found the next day collapsed between the shelves, clutching the book with its missing pages. Conan's glasses began reflecting light for no apparent reason. A contradictory forty-ninth rule appeared in Ai Haibara's lab, and Kaitou Kid's calling card became a new taboo. When the rules began revising themselves and the people in mirrors stopped blinking, everyone realized that once this game bound by rules began, there was no way out. And those who had disappeared may have become part of the rules.
