Shiran: “The day my sister got out of prison, I imagined a hundred scenarios where she’d be some gangland queen. Instead, she looked like a corporate executive just off work!”
Shiguo: “Mm, Ranran is right. Whatever Ranran says is right.”
This one is guaranteed sweet. I’d be a puppy if I were lying. I absolutely won’t switch the couples. I’d gain ten pounds if I lied. Even though I can’t really turn into a puppy, gaining ten pounds is easy enough...
The writing order of the Name series: No Name at All, My Sister’s Name, The Hardest Name to Pronounce, Who Doesn’t Have a Former Name?, When I Call Your Name Again, We’ll Have Different Identities
The chronological order of the Name series: When I Call Your Name Again, We’ll Have Different Identities; My Sister’s Name; The Hardest Name to Pronounce (first 100 chapters); No Name at All; The Hardest Name to Pronounce (last 60 chapters); Who Doesn’t Have a Former Name?
Reading them in publication order or chronological order each has its own appeal, but either way, you only get to choose once. When I Call Your Name Again, We’ll Have Different Identities is the “pseudo”-finale of the Name series. I haven’t written it yet, but I expect to start posting it in the second half of 2026. It follows Qiuye and her first love, and will be the only tragic ending in the Name series. P.S. My predictions are never right.
It is really a rare sweet and non-abusive piece of writing by the author. The only abuse point was done by Mr. Chu. This currently seems to be the real final work of the Name series, and all the protagonists have a good ending. Looking forward to our next encounter.
The name series is really beautiful, but also very heartbreaking.
It looks good, I came here from several other names.
