When Lin Mo wakes up, he has become a lowly skeleton tending the furnace in White Bone Cave on White Tiger Ridge.
Lady White Bone is sharpening her knives, ready to ambush Tang Sanzang, while the demons in the cave excitedly debate whether to steam him or deep-fry him.
Lin Mo silently pulls out the Demonic Survival Guide he just found in his robes.
The first sentence on the title page reads: “If you don’t want to die, stay away from Tang Sanzang and his disciples.”
But when he turns to the next page, it suddenly glows, revealing a line of gilded text:
“Hidden quest activated: Assist Sun Wukong in defeating the White Bone Spirit three times!”
Lin Mo stares at his arms and legs, which crumble at the slightest touch, and freezes.
System, you call this a beginner quest??
Come on, author! The quality is very good!
