Modern special forces soldier Zhou Weiguo transmigrates into the world of Bright Sword, arriving at the desperate turning point of the Battle of Cangyun Ridge.
As a political instructor in the Eighth Route Army, he has no real authority, his troops are poorly equipped, and Sakata's regiment is about to encircle and annihilate them.
With his military knowledge base and foresight into history, he improves tactics and trains elite troops, helping Li Yunlong turn the tide and rout the Japanese.
From the rise of the Independent Regiment, through the flames of the War of Resistance and the fierce battles of the Liberation War, all the way to crossing the Yalu River and fighting at Lake Changjin.
He uses modern tactics to turn the tide in local battles, yet remains true to the broad course of history, forging an iron-willed military spirit with intelligence and courage.
Transmigration changes more than just one man's fate: it changes the future of an army.
