The City's Regret Recycling Station

A mysterious app called the Regret Recycling Station is pushed to people whose “regret levels exceed the limit,” and only at midnight. It can “recycle” a user’s chosen regret in life, but in exchange it extracts a corresponding “emotional anchor” from them, such as a memory, a hobby, or a sense. Behind the app is a research institute trying to use human emotional energy to open a “dimension of consciousness.” Caught between dependence and resistance, the protagonist confronts the truth about regret.
