In 2005, Li Bing grew up in a broken family in a small village in Henan. Left behind after their parents divorced, the siblings struggled to survive at the home of their indifferent grandparents. He was rebellious in junior high school and confused in high school, until he met Yang Xiaobing, a girl from Chengdu. The girl who took him to eat his first KFC was like a beam of light shining into his gloomy youth. From graduating from college to wandering in the city, from setting up a street vendor to running into obstacles in starting a business, Li Bing, with Yang Xiaobing's unwavering companionship, stumbled forward in the wave of the times. This is a story about scars and healing, humility and dignity - when rural youths with nothing meet the love of their lives, how they plant a sunny flower for themselves in the cracks of reality.
