Lin Wan, a cultural relic restorer who works in a museum, discovers that a forgotten silver mirror allows her to briefly enter the "decisive moment" in the life of its mistress. When she comes into contact with a silver mirror from the Republic of China period, she is accidentally involved in the life choices of Bai Wei, a famous Shanghai actress in 1935. Two women from different eras echo each other at both ends of the mirror and redeem each other.
