This Daoist Priest Is No Slacker

Li Niandao, the least serious Taoist on Mount Qingcheng, came down the mountain to gain experience but did nothing of the sort. Instead, he opened a coffin shop, with the slogan, “Buy a coffin and get a blessing, and even the King of Hell will steer clear.” He should have been the picture of an immortal sage, but he wore a silver hoop in his left ear and had a mouth as quick as firecrackers. He drove out evil with snark and made spell duels a comedy routine. But who could have guessed that a corpse-curse case in the back mountains would lead to the ancient evil artifact, the Nine Yin Underworld Coffin, and bring him face to face with the utterly deranged Netherworld Cult? On one side, his senior sister Su Qingyao keeps him in line with her “deadly marriage-pressure” discipline. On the other, there is the mystery of the past of Leng Ningshuang, a beautiful young woman with amnesia, along with the sinister, uncanny Netherworld Valley and the elusive Soul-Suppressing Pearl. Watch this “unconventional Taoist” wield his peachwood sword and perform the steps of the Big Dipper, taking on the most perilous adventures and battling the most vicious fiends with a thoroughly irreverent attitude. After all, someone has to save the world with a smile!
