This work is a fanfiction derivative that takes the world and plot framework of the Chinese classic Water Margin and completely changes the characters’ genders. While preserving the original’s classic storylines, it thoroughly reimagines the characters’ genders, reconstructs the social order, and innovates on its themes, exploring the jianghu and the meaning of brotherhood from an entirely new perspective.
