The story tells an ancient folk tale that is full of suspense and wit. Legend has it that in Yangzhou City in a certain dynasty, there were two beautiful girls from the south of the Yangtze River. One was Du Bingyan, the daughter of the richest merchant's family in the north of the city, and the other was Li Yuhu, the eldest daughter of the martial arts family in the east of the city. They were born in the same year and month and got married on the same day. They met by chance on a rainy day and boarded the wrong sedan chair, leading to two bizarre and intertwined love stories.
