Jinhua Mountain Cloudmist Temple

Title: Jin Hua Mountain: From Orphaned Heir to Founding Emperor

Synopsis:

In the chaotic final years of the Ming Dynasty, with the eunuch faction wielding unchecked power, Li Sanbao, Marquis of Zhenbei, is betrayed by his deputy general Mo Zuoxiang. Wei Zhongxian orders the execution of Li’s entire household.

The marquis’s youngest son, Li Tianpeng, escapes with Mo Qianqiu, the daughter of his father’s trusted retainer Mo Yuancheng. With Mo Yuancheng and a dozen death-soldiers fighting to the last to protect them, the two flee for their lives to Yunwu Temple on Jin Hua Mountain.

But the pursuing Jinyiwei have already laid an ambush. In a bloody battle at the temple gates, every one of the dozen guards is killed, and Mo Yuancheng is left gravely wounded, with several knife wounds. He fights off the pursuers, but dares not let Li Tianpeng and Mo Qianqiu’s whereabouts be exposed. With no other choice, he leaves them in the care of the temple’s abbot.

Seeking revenge, Mo Yuancheng sets out alone, only to be betrayed once again by his deputy general Mo Zuoxiang, his own cousin. He ultimately dies in a siege by the Jinyiwei.

Years later, Li Tianpeng awakens the Tathagata Divine Palm left to him by his father at Yunwu Temple. Learning of his family’s bloody fate and Mo Yuancheng’s death, he resolutely descends the mountain. With Buddhist palms, he shatters the Jinyiwei; with martial prowess, he quells the turmoil in Jiangnan. At last, he leads a rebel army north, overthrows the corrupt dynasty, and founds the Tianpeng Kingdom, rising from an orphaned heir to a founding emperor.

This is a path of vengeance paved with blood and fire, and a stirring epic of the martial world and imperial court intertwined in the final years of the Ming Dynasty!
