[Touhou Project fanfiction × Hard-core space opera] [Political maneuvering + rigorously coherent worldbuilding + colony construction + Cold War logic]
Inspired by the world of the Hearts of Iron mod Iron Hearts, though you don't need to know the setting to enjoy this story.
The setting currently incorporates elements from Barotrauma, with more to come. These additions won't affect the main plot.
When Gensokyo reaches for the stars, its youkai decide to redefine the universe with naval guns and rules.
But deep space is no paradise.
This is an endless expedition, and its goal is not conquest, but the creation of a new order for the world of Gensokyo.
Welcome aboard.
If you enjoy watching a civilization construct its own order like solving a puzzle, using reason, technology, and strategy, or savoring the obsession hidden beneath cool-headed decisions and the brutal clash between human will and an unknown ecosystem, then you may find plenty to enjoy in this story.
If you prefer the thrill of killing every alien and burning the galaxy to ash, this story may not be for you.
