A Modern School Becomes a Sword Immortal and Sweeps Away the Demons with One Strike

In a city of flashing neon, monstrous shadows lurk. Amid the bustle of a lively university campus sits an ordinary third-year student.

Li Qingci has average grades and rarely speaks. He is the sort of person who would go unnoticed in a crowd.

But no one knows that he was once the White Moon Immortal Venerable. After shattering his own life-bound sword, the White Moon Qingci, he hid half of it within his heart. He slept for a thousand years, awakening after vanquishing the demons. Having forgotten some of his memories, he spent decades adapting to modern life before finally making a close friend, Bai Shang.

When a monster's howl echoes through a dark alley late at night, when the cries of the innocent are swallowed by darkness, he draws his sword and steps forward, cleaving the heavens and destroying every evil spirit.

He sheaths his sword as dawn approaches, changes into a clean school uniform, and heads to his early-morning class, as if the bloody violence of the night before had been nothing but an inconsequential dream.

In the modern city, a banished immortal keeps his blade hidden, guarding the lights of his home and protecting the peace of the mortal world.
