This book is unreadable now. The protagonist is beating up the author.
[Breaking the fourth wall + data-driven + high-IQ crime + utterly rational madman]
“Hello, Observer. I know you're reading this blurb. Don't look around; I'm talking to you.”
Gu Yi is a senior programmer at a major internet company, a hopeless workaholic. In the early hours of a morning after yet another all-nighter, he awakens the world's [Developer Console]. As it turns out, this world is just a huge, buggy piece of slapdash software. And you are its only audience.
Is your boss droning on and on? Gu Yi taps a finger:
Ctrl+X
(Cut). The next second, his boss turns into pixels and garbled code flying everywhere, without even making it to the recycle bin.
The Corrector (antivirus software) bursts through the wall? Gu Yi adjusts his glasses:
Modify Attribute -> Bedrock
(Change material to bedrock). Sorry, this is my private server. I'm the only admin.
As reality crumbles and a flood of data engulfs the city, Gu Yi stands atop the ruins and looks through the screen at you, the reader: “This string of garbled text is a clue for you. Turn the page. Save me, and save yourself.”
[Reading advisory]:
The protagonist is extremely rational and completely unhinged. Don't judge him by normal standards.
Keep your phone charged while reading. After all... if the screen goes black, you might see something in the reflection that you shouldn't.
Don't look back.
The new book may be more brain-burning. If you don't understand, you can ask me. I need everyone's support. Thank you Zaizai!!!!
