An Immortal’s Fated Trial, Three Hundred Years of Hidden Swordsmanship

Everyone says that Wulin Mountain is home to a demon immortal, a peerless figure in white who slays demons and vanquishes evil.

A cycle of reincarnation spanning three hundred years, and a forbidden love between master and disciple sealed away by blood and time.

Yi Shiliu is born with an innate spiritual physique, yet knows nothing of his origins. He was raised from childhood by Shen Suchen, the “Demoness,” who lives in seclusion on Wulin Mountain. She taught him swordsmanship and helped him cultivate his mind, serving as both master and friend. Life on the mountain was peaceful, save for the deep sword mark on the wall of a hidden chamber and the distant look in his master's eyes whenever she gazed at him, both hinting at a past long kept secret.

Determined to ease his master's troubled heart, Shiliu leaves the mountain, only to discover that every step he takes brings him deeper into a scheme laid three hundred years ago. The sword tomb inheritance in the Penglai secret realm, the cruel truth behind the reincarnation curse, and the plot of the Demon Cult's young lord, who has lain low for three centuries before making his return... When his memories finally awaken, Shiliu understands that he is the person erased from the mural: Qingming, once the Sword Sect's most gifted disciple.

And the master who raised him, taught him swordsmanship, and shared wine with him beneath the moon is none other than Shen Suchen, his junior sister from his past life, whom he once protected with his life before personally sending her into reincarnation. Three hundred years ago, he “died” to save her. Three hundred years later, she fought time and forgetfulness alone as she waited for his return.

When their old enemy once again marches on Wulin Mountain, Shiliu takes up his former sword, Shattered Star, and stands beside his master.

This time, the sword has lain hidden for three hundred years, all so we can face death together.
