My heart aches for Tao Zui, who isn’t loved by Hua Guzi.
See how a twenty-first-century college student manages to bring a bamboo demon from a thousand years ago into the modern world!
The heroine, Zhuang Suqiu, was a sophomore in college until one day she transmigrated into the tragic second female lead, Zhong Suqiu, in the TV drama Hua Guzi.
Zhong Suqiu’s ghost tells her that she is Zhong Suqiu from a thousand years in the future.
On top of that, the ghost demands that she bring Tao Zui and Hua Guzi together. Otherwise, the world of the story will collapse, and she’ll never be able to return to ancient times. But whenever she gets close to Tao Zui, her heart skips a beat, and she can’t help flirting with him and protecting him.
By the time she realizes she’s supposed to pair the bamboo demon with Hua Guzi, the demon has already come after her. He pulls her into his arms and declares possessively, “Zhong Suqiu, you belong to me, Tao Zui! Stop trying to push me onto someone else, or I’ll have my way with you right here and now…”
