The Outcast: Keeping Up My Cool Persona

(A word of warning: the author has only watched the TV version of The Battle of Biyou Village. I'm writing this purely out of love because I really like Qiu'er in the show. I'm not very familiar with the rest, so the characters may be out of character.) Pairing: Wang Zhenqiu

Hehe's transmigration was utterly ridiculous! Just because she laughed at her best friend's new haircut and said it looked like a bird's nest, a truck sent her straight into the world of the Outsiders! It even came with a System, its electronic voice soft and babyish: “Host~ With me around, you can roam the world! Since your IQ is low and you're not very bright, I've activated the cold-and-distant persona assist mode. Say less, mess up less.” Hehe: “...This System of yours really doesn't mince words...” From then on, she was forced into cold-and-distant mode. She ignored Zhang Chulan's little hints, paid no attention to Feng Baobao's invitations to bury people, and met Wang Zhenqiu's torrent of compliments with just two words: “How boring.” But then she'd turn around and scream at the System in her head: “Aaaah, he just said I was pretty! System, take a screenshot!” “His eyes are so alluring! I can't keep this act up!” System: “Host, stay calm! If you break character again, I'll make you bray like a donkey in front of everyone for half an hour.” Wang Zhenqiu, though, only got more into the game. After all, who could resist a goofball who acted cold to your face but secretly swooned over you behind your back?
