I tried to make it as real as possible, with less fiction and more historical facts. Every character in it has a documented history. Through the eyes of the little people, we see another kind of history: it is not only the intrigues in the court and the smoke of the battlefield, but also the hardships of making money, rice, oil and salt, the mutual help and conflicts between neighbors, and the everlasting hope for life. Their stories make history no longer just a cold time and event, but a warm and breathy record of life.
