Fu Chen’s greatest miscalculation in life was treating Lin Qing’s sincere love like a bill he could settle with money.
When he said “It was just for fun” in front of everyone, he didn’t know those words would become the most painful slap of his life. When he handed over a bank card on a snowy night, he didn’t know it would buy out his only chance to be loved.
After they separated, he finally understood his own heart. But how could he win Lin Qing back?
That night, Fu Chen knelt outside Lin Qing’s new studio, clutching medicine for his stomach, but he didn’t dare press the doorbell.
Lin Qing’s voice came through, clear and firm.
“Mr. Fu, my paintings are very expensive now.”
“And my heart, it's priceless, and sold out.”
It gets really sweet later, trust me. I’m grinning as I write it.

[Reader’s Guide]
1. The groveling-to-win-back-his-wife plot is only the beginning. At its heart, this is a story about two imperfect people awkwardly teaching each other what love means.
2. A cool, resilient artist bottom × an arrogant CEO top who learns from his mistakes. 1v1, HE.
3. Complete career-growth arc + emotional-redemption arc, progressing side by side.
4. Core theme: Love means respect and equality, not charity or possession.
After reading a little bit, I will comment. I kept having to tell the truth, but I kept relenting, I kept saying it was over, I chose not to want him, and I kept thinking about him. I can accept this ups and downs, but the writing is too flat. It feels like a running account, scrolling back and forth, but I may continue to read it.
Lin Qing is a very... Unique character.
