I Transmigrated Into the Honghuang World and Became the Eighth Saint

Su Xun, a modern scholar of mythology, opened his eyes and found that he had become the greatest variable in the Primordial World: he was the one who had escaped the count.

Before Pangu created the world, Su Xun was already lying low beside the Chaos Green Lotus. When the three thousand Demon Gods fell while trying to obstruct the creation of the world, he quietly held back a wisp of Primordial Purple Qi and stole fragments of the Jade Disc of Creation.

During the Dragon-Han Tribulation, he cultivated countless good connections among the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin clans. During the Witch-Demon Calamity, he saved the Golden Crows, protected Hou Yi, and safeguarded the Black Tortoise's true spirit. When Buzhou Mountain collapsed, he raised a pillar to support the heavens and helped Nuwa mend them.

When the Investiture of the Gods calamity began, he watched coldly from the sidelines, yet gathered the remnants of the Jie Sect's souls when the Immortal Execution Formation was broken. When the Journey to the West calamity came, he took the form of an old monkey to enlighten the stone-born monkey, gave Wukong a token beneath Five Elements Mountain, and discussed the Dao with the Tathagata at the foot of Spirit Mountain.

The Three Pure Ones called him "fellow Daoist." Nuwa owed him a karmic debt for the creation of life. The two Western Saints went out of their way to avoid him, and before merging with the Dao, Patriarch Hongjun spoke with him in private.

He took three thousand disciples but founded no sect. He possessed the Pavilion of All Things, yet never entered the struggle for supremacy.

Everyone thought he stood apart from the world, never knowing that...

From Chaos to the Primordial World, from the creation of the world to the Journey to the West, from one calamity to the age of the end of the Dharma, he had been waiting for the moment he would merge with the Dao.

When the final trace of calamity qi dissipated, when the Pavilion of All Things ascended to the thirty-third heaven and became a new Purple Cloud Palace, and when the saints came to pay homage as the Earthly Dao stood independent...

Only then did he finally speak:

"The Great Dao has fifty paths, while Heaven's deductions reveal forty-nine. Today, I shall complete the missing one."

He did not vie for a saint's seat because what he sought was to make the Primordial World whole, without a single flaw.

Witness how a transmigrator, as the very embodiment of change, undertakes the work of mending the heavens and becomes the Primordial World's true "Eighth Saint"!
