I Went Home for the New Year, and My Blind Date Tried to Eat Me

[Sharp-Tongued King vs. Feudal Superstition]

When other people return to their village in glory, Lin Mo returns as the “year’s slaughter pig.”

Faced with awful relatives who want to sacrifice him to Heaven and a sinister idol, Lin Mo says, “Fine, I’ll stop pretending. I’m Heaven’s punishment.”

He gains [Karma-Bending Evil Tongue], whose whole deal is “words come true, but my enemies die and I get hurt.”

Cursing the matchmaker to death? The price is public humiliation in red underwear.

Cursing the idol to pieces? The price is having his limited-edition sneakers split right down the middle.

He dodges a rabid dog by braking with his face and avoids a deadly trap by taking a tumble.

Lin Mo: “Sure, I’m unlucky, but you all still have to die!”

In this eerie, terrifying folk village, the whole thing gradually goes off the rails.

The terrifying evil spirits are so cursed by him they get indigestion.

The vicious villagers are so hexed they start questioning their lives.

Even the mysterious big shot in the cemetery looks at him differently: “Brother, you’re risking your life just to run your mouth!”

This is one bizarre escape, trading bad luck for invincibility. If you’re not tough enough, don’t even open it!
