My Childhood Friend Is a Hunter

[Two male leads + childhood sweethearts + sweet romance + devoted to each other]

[No transmigration or rebirth, everyone is a native of this world]

Lin Qing is a ger, and his childhood friend Lu Hu lives next door.

They grew up together. Lu Hu is half a year older than him, tall and strong, capable, and fiercely protective of his own.

Over the years, Lin Qing and Lu Hu have spent countless hours playing together. When Lin Qing is hungry, Lu Hu feeds him pastries. When he’s tired, Lu Hu is quick to help. And whenever someone bullies him, Lu Hu is the first to roll up his sleeves and rush to his defense.

Lin Qing has always thought of Lu Hu as a third older brother.

Then one day, Lu Hu came back from town with a box of face powder for him, the most expensive kind sold there. The young wives in the village had been talking about it for ages, but none of them could bring themselves to buy it.

As Lu Hu handed it over, his eyes shone so brightly they almost burned, and the tips of his ears were red. Still, he pretended nothing was out of the ordinary.

“It’s for you.”

Lin Qing stood frozen, holding the box of face powder.

Lu Hu had given him all sorts of things over the years, but never anything like this.

Only then did he remember the village aunties teasing him lately: “Qing, when are you and Huzi going to get married?”

He looked again at the blazing gaze of the person in front of him.

Only then did Lin Qing realize...

His Huzi-ge, the boy who’d grown up by his side, might, maybe, probably... want to marry him?

(P.S. The story starts when they’re both five. They grow up in Chapter 88.)
