History veered onto a different path in 1933.

The little man who should have unleashed a storm of blood and violence had long since become a withered corpse by the Somme, forgotten by all. Emerging from the ruins of Weimar and the shadows of political intrigue was a girl of just seventeen, pale as porcelain: Adolf Schiller. She would be crowned emperor, vowing to forge an eternal new order with steel and gears.

He came from the future, only to fall into the most dangerous present.

Lin Heng, a transmigrator who knew the course of the original history, woke up as Karl, a fallen aristocrat scraping by in the slums of Berlin. For the price of a loaf of bread, he was forced into the gears of this madly churning state machine. Then, on a rainy night, deep within the forbidden gardens, he stumbled upon Her Majesty the Empress whispering to a diseased oak. Her eyes held no fervor, only the cold reason of a frozen lake and a loneliness that seemed ready to crack.

As the tides of the Second Great War shift, what path should he take?
