Two Hundred Jin From the Start: One Song About an Ugly Monster Shakes the Music World

[Showbiz] [Classic Songs] [One Female Lead] [No System]

Lin Ran, a D-list singer from Earth, transmigrates to Blue Star. There are no male singers in the music scene here. Of the top fifty on the charts, forty-nine are women, while the only male singer is a clown who rose to fame by being ugly. The music is also monotonous, with female love songs dominating the mainstream.

I, Lin Ran, am a 250-jin fat guy. On the first day of school, my campus belle girlfriend dumps me in front of everyone. I declare that I'll sing, only to become a laughingstock at school and meme fodder across the internet. They laugh at my looks, so I hit back with one song, “Ugly Monster,” and blow the whole place away! You say male voices are rough, so I'll use “Rice Fragrance” to soothe the whole internet. This world has no male-female duets, so I'll use “Because of Love” to show you their charm.

This is a story about redemption and conquest. Watch as an “ugly duckling” uses his voice to crown himself king in a world full of swans.
