An unexpected disturbance in the fabric of time sent Lin Wanxing, a modern-day office worker, tumbling into an unfamiliar dynasty a thousand years in the past.
She had only wanted to keep her head down and make a living, but somehow she caught the eye of Xiao Jingyuan, a cold-faced general. He bore the heavy responsibility of defending his country and family, carefully advancing at every step; she carried memories of the future and walked her lonely path alone.
The paths of two lives that should never have crossed unexpectedly converged in a fold of time. Amid political schemes and power struggles, he sheltered her from every storm; amid the flames of war, she stood by him as he turned the tide.
Across mountains and seas, across distance and time, it turned out their destined match had been sealed from the very moment time folded in on itself.
