Daughter Slandered? I’m Funding the Entertainment Industry

“Why are you crying? Wipe your tears.”

“That spot was yours to begin with. Dad will go get it back for you.”

Su Yun, a hidden billionaire, had wanted nothing more than to be a lazy man with hundreds of billions in assets, drinking tea and walking his birds every day.

Then his stepdaughter, Li Youwei, entered a talent show. The powerful industry insiders maliciously cut her screen time, and a washed-up judge publicly mocked her songs as nothing but “bland pop.” She was on the verge of being driven off the show and attacked across the internet.

Seeing his daughter with red-rimmed eyes, too scared to fight back, Su Yun flew into a rage!

He called his assistant. “Buy the production company! And sign me up. I’m joining the show as an investor!”

And so, a “trainee past his prime” wearing baggy shorts appeared on the talent show stage.

The judges sneered at him? One song, “Rakshasa Sea City,” and he tore into the investors until they couldn’t lift their heads and apologized before the night was out!

A top-tier star disrespected traditional Chinese music? One song, “Red Ling,” and his theatrical vocals had the entire internet begging him to debut!

The audience complained that the tickets were too expensive? Su Yun waved a hand. “I bought this venue. Everyone gets in for free today. Come listen to my daughter sing!”

Fans across the internet went wild. “God Su, please don’t leave the industry! Chinese entertainment can’t go on without you!”

Su Yun shrugged. “I really don’t want to be famous. I just want to tell all you industry big shots something, ”

“Mess with my daughter, and your account’s gone.”
