The name of profiler Shen Moheng was engraved on the ring inside the first corpse in Blizzard Villa. He is the only survivor of the old case, but his memory is missing for seventy-two hours. "Emotion is an impurity in reasoning," he analyzed calmly, "but it is also the key to deciphering human nature." Detective Gu Lin, who only believes in physical evidence, refuted: "Corpses don't lie, but the memory of living people does."
The killing followed a precise ritual, trapping seven people related to the old case into a circular chain of accomplices. When Shen Moheng's broken memories pointed to the "trial procedure" that he might have been shaped by, Gu Lin held his wrist in a desperate situation: "I don't need perfect evidence, I need you - alive to testify."
Before the final decision to reveal the truth and protect the innocent, the two broken souls are each other's key to breaking the situation, and find cruel redemption in the cage of memory.
This is my first time writing. The text is not very good. I don't recommend watching it.
