The heroine is clever and resilient, with a two-faced streak ✖️ The hero is proud, sharp-tongued, and an aloof beauty

Nineteen-year-old Zhang Yue works all night at an electronics factory to make ends meet.

After starting college, she does whatever it takes to join the university’s Xinghai Drama Club.

Everyone thinks she is sweet and sensible. Only the rich heir Si Yang gives her a hard time at every turn.

“You’re not a sincere person.”

Convinced she has slept her way to the top, he treats her with cold contempt.

Then, on a stormy night, Zhang Yue finally learns why he hated her from the very start.

She suddenly smiles, lifts the face she is so skilled at using as a mask, and says clearly:

“Si Yang, I’m going to pursue you.”

After she tells him she likes him, he acts indifferent, yet falls deeper with every step.

He never imagines that every move she makes toward him conceals a young man’s bloody past, along with all the reasons she enrolled at this university and fought her way into his world.

When the truth comes out, Si Yang finally realizes:

She has woven a gentle web, and he has been caught right in the center.
