[Absurd comedy + no System + characters who all think things through + plot-driven + slow burn]
Also known as: “What Do You Mean There’s a Gun Barrel Stuffed Inside My Sword Scabbard?” and “A Gunpowder Swordsman Is Still a Swordsman”
Among all the martial arts under heaven, speed is unbeatable.
That is what people believe, and Mo Yu, the world’s number-one swordsman, agrees.
Mo Yu: As long as I draw my “sword” fast enough, my opponent won’t even see its “blade.”
Strength can overcome any technique.
People accept this too, and Mo Yu, the martial world’s number-one long-range swordsman, concurs.
Mo Yu: A few of my “sword auras” will send even those with skin like metal and bones like jade crashing to the ground, drooling.
An enemy sprawled at Mo Yu’s feet: “W-Why… does your sword have a curved grip, a little button, and a long, narrow tube? Tell me! How is that ‘sword’ of yours, the one that spins in the middle when you press it, remotely reasonable?!”
“Bang!”
“Whoosh~~” Mo Yu stood beside his dead enemy, in the turbulent age of the Great Xing, and blew on the white smoke rising from the “mouth of his sword.” “Honestly, if it fits inside a sword scabbard, doesn’t that make it a sword? I’m the Gunpowder Swordsman, and my reputation is well deserved!”
(The blurb doesn’t do it justice. Read the story.)
This book is pretty good, but it's not popular. There is only one review by the author in the book review section, and I feel bad for the author. The author can't blame Tomato for such poor traffic. Please don't give up on the book... I try my best to catch up on updates. I don't know when I will start to support the book, but it's okay to click on it for two days. I just ask that the book doesn't die.
Brothers, give me a chance and kneel down!!! The man has gold at his knees, now is the time to cash it in.
I like the protagonist's character and way of doing things
So far so good.
