"Eternal Marks"
Some wounds never heal,
Just learned how to sleep with pain.
Some scales never regain balance,
Just getting used to weighing in on the tilt.
She was reborn from an evil ritual,
He becomes a reckoner on the banks of a flowing river.
The wind picked up vines and dust as it passed through the ruins,
Someone heard and someone turned around.
We don't repair the rift;
They only build their nests next to cracks.
Don't look for the other side,
Only the depth of the abyss is measured.
Build embankments before high tide,
Light the lamp before sunset,
Before "irreversible" happens,
Hands over a rusty key.
Someone knocks on the door with the mark of a wolf,
Someone is waiting with the promise of Yue.
The old house on the canal lit up with a belated light,
The signboard reads:
"Taking the regrettable business of prevention."
We weigh the darkness,
Use scars as weights.
We record the echo,
New growth rings grow from the rest.
This is not a story about saving the world -
Just a few broken people,
Beside the permanent scars that cannot be healed,
Learn how to move on with life.
Remember the wind every Sunday,
That pocket watch that will never be repaired,
Still walking.

This is my first Western fantasy, and also my first novel. At first, it was just a sporadic character design and plot that I thought of during a sleepless night, and I started writing as soon as my mind got hot. The initial outline was revised five or six times, and was expected to cover 300,000 words. But later on when I actually started writing, I found a flood of inspiration, so I expanded the outline again and again. Now, half a month has passed, and it has reached the length of 500,000 words. This size is really difficult for me, a newbie, to grasp. Many pitfalls that I am aware of and are not aware of are constantly emerging. To be honest, I am exhausted [face covering]. There have also been several cases where chapters have been revised, causing the number of words to be updated to reach the upper limit, and updates have been discontinued. I am also constantly learning, correcting, and improving my writing skills. This is something I have invested a lot of energy in.
