After transmigrating into the body of Xiao Wushuang, a useless young marquis, he planned to keep a low profile, eat well, and wait for death. But as soon as he woke up, Princess Xuan Li “picked him up.”
She was poisoned and on the run; he mistook a courtesan for the top performer. The two “spent their days having heart-to-heart talks.”
He casually told her a story about Wu Meiniang, and her ambition burst into flame: “Why can’t a woman rule the world?”
From then on, Xiao Wushuang became a peerless schemer:
He face-slapped his younger brother, wiped out the Shangguan Gang, took over gambling dens, devised poisonous plots, and dominated the court…
He taught her to endure humiliation, climb over men to seize power, and make the world submit.
Years later, she ascended the throne and commanded all under heaven. He became her sharpest blade, one she could never put down.
“What do men matter? Just step on them.”
A wild legend of a master schemer guiding an empress to power, all born from a misunderstanding!
