[Pokemon] [Modern Urban Setting] [No Female Lead]
Pokemon arrive, and the world is transformed.
When Gu Yan opens his eyes, he finds himself back in his high school days.
In this world, Pokemon and humans have coexisted in harmony for a thousand years.
A soon-to-be senior and prospective Trainer about to receive his Starter Pokémon, he starts with a Mudkip.
Years later, the battle at Tianwang Mountain!
A stormy day.
The final stage of the Champion Challenge has been soaked by the rain, turning into a muddy battlefield.
The Water-type Gym Leader Gu Yan stands in the rain, his gaze like a blade as he looks straight at Long Yan, the Dragon-type Champion across from him.
The wind howls, and the Dragon Pokemon growl low. Dragonite spreads its wings, its Dragon aura pressing down like a tangible force.
Gu Yan merely raises a hand, and the Key Stone on his wrist shines:
"Mega Evolution..."
A flash of white light. Known to the world as the King of Storms and Rain, MEGA Swampert lifts its head from the mire in the torrential downpour, frost gathering around its massive fists:
"What Dragon-type Champion?"
"I don't understand."
"Take this, Ice Punch!"
